A parade and antique tractor pull are just a few of the facets of the annual Fall Flatwoods Festival at the Hussey Farm in Bennett. The Flatwoods Festival is hosted by the Tri-County Ruritan Club and celebrates its 15th year in 2012.
The festival is packed with family fun; musical entertainment; a grand parade with vintage cars trucks, tractors, horse-drawn vehicles, floats; antique farm equipment display; food; crafts; pony rides; and more. Friday, free admission for all.

- Admission on Saturday : adults - $5.00 and children under 12 - free
- Feel free to bring lawn chairs
- Parade at 10am on Main St. in Bennett
- Fun begins at 11am at Hussey Farm in Bennett
- Event takes place between Sanford and Asheboro, off Hwy 42/22.
- Follow 902 West from 421 near Goldston.
- Look forward to antique farm equipment displays; food and craft vendors; show cars on display; and activities for all ages
